Legends of Poker -- WPT Season 4The Bicycle Club Commerce, CaliforniaAugust 27 - 31, 2005 This year's Legends of Poker tournament winner will take home $1,125,000 and a seat to the WPT championships next year. The event drew 839 entrants which caused the group to split up into two fields with action taking place over two days. It was a little below the 1,000+ that was expected, but with the huge number of big money tournaments taking place everywhere, we at Just Gamble For Free feel the explosive numbers of players attending tournaments may begin to slow down. There are too many events for top pros to get into. This does not envision a slow down in poker, but just shows the speed that the number of big tournaments are being created all vying for a slice of the poker pie. In addition, the Bicycle Club hosted a No-Limit Hold'em Ladies Poker Party tournament on Wednesday, August 31 at 7:15p.m. The winner went on to play in the annual WPT Ladies Night tournament.
