Event #42 No Limit Texas Hold'em World Championship July 13 Day 5
58 players from Day 4 have assembled themselves armed with huge piles of chips and began another tournament round in their quest to become champion. The goal is to play down to 27 players today. Tomorrow, the action will be moved from the RIO! to The Horseshoe in downtown Las Vegas for the last 2 days of play. The minimum anyone will earn today if eliminated will be $$145,875. (We have the payout schedule on Day 1C if you need to see it.) Greg Raymer is the only WSOP champion left in the field, but another win for him will probably be one of the biggest challenges he has ever faced. We have learned that Jarl Lindholt has been busted by Brad Kondracki which places Jarl in 58th place earning him $145,875 for his efforts. And Yakov Hirsch is gone in 57th place also earning $145,875. Stay with us for coverage on today's event.

UPDATE 2:31 p.m.
Eliminations have taken place as follows: Larry Prugh 56th $145,875, Mark Forrester 55th $145,875, James Butt 54th $173,880, Nick Gibson 53rd $173,880, Rod Pardey Jr 52nd $173,880, Derek Dix 51st $173,880, Joseph Stillman 50th $173,880, Hung La 49th $173,880. Greg Raymer has 1,100,000 and is back at the ESPN table again. (If you are hot they want you at a specific table to film you.) Shahram Sheikhan is also at the table with 2,050,000. Will post additional news as it comes in.

UPDATE 3:25 p.m.
Tiffany Williamson has joined other players at the ESPN table, (guess she's hot), and has surpassed the 2 million number in chips. Mike "The Mouth" Matusow has his stack over 4 million and is now the chip leader. Phil Ivey is up to 2,300,000, Tim Phan 2,500,000 and Scott Lazar is at 2,600,000. Other busts include Lee Watkinson 45th $235,390, David Richardson 46th $173,880, Kevin Kaikko 47th $173,880 and Patrick Hayden 48th $173,880.

UPDATE 5:23 p.m.
Chip counts are skyrocketing as more players are eliminated. Tex Barch joins Mike Matusow in the 4 million chip stack club. Phil Ivey has increased his pile to 3,500,000, Johnny Howard is up to 2,400,000 and Greg Raymer is still at the ESPN table with 1,450,000 along with Tiffany Williamson who is down to 1,300,000 in chips. Adding to the list of players no longer in the Main Event are Franklin Caldwell in 39th $235,390, Tony Abesamis in 40th $235,390, Farzad Bonyadi 41st $235,390, Raymi Thorn 42nd $235,390, Adam Friedman 43rd $235,390 and Kenna James 44th $235,390.

UPDATE 7:20 p.m.
Greg Raymer doubled up through Tiffany Williamson at the ESPN table. Raymer went all in which sent everyone running over as these types of hands decide who wins and who loses. Raymer had K K against Willamson's A J when the dealer dealt 6s 6d 2d 4c 9c giving the win to Raymer and 2,600,000 chips. Other players who busted out were Bing Wang 34th $274,090, Steve Marx 35th $274,090, Will O' Brien 36th $274,090, Roland Israelashvili 37th $235,390 and Terence Burt 38th $235,390.
